GoPro Burj Khalifa FPV is a brand campaign for GoPro, released in 2022. André Larsen flew the FPV camera at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
2022 is also the year André won the GoPro Million Dollar Challenge, GoPro's global filmmaking competition. His Burj Khalifa FPV footage has been featured by My Modern Met and The Kid Should See This.
For action and sports, an FPV drone can follow a moving athlete or vehicle through the air at speed and stay with the subject where a traditional aerial camera would fall behind.
André Larsen is a Norwegian FPV drone pilot and cinematographer based in Dubai since 2020. He went professional in 2017, won the GoPro Million Dollar Challenge in 2022, and flies commercials, films and live events across the UAE and worldwide.
